Slowely the website get filled. As you can see we have a help section now. Please give your opinion to us on the irc network in channel #amiria. 

Nickserv

Nickserv helps you register your nick on amiria and ofcourse any other Network that uses Service. (Networks that doesn't use this Service are for example Efnet & Undernet) Having your nick registered helps you prevent other users to steal it while you are offline from the net. Be aware though, that if you don't use your nick under 21 days (3 weeks) your nick will be cancelled and You will have to register it again when you return.

Here is a list of commands You can use for Nickserv. If you want further help, you can use the command /msg Nickserv HELP

Register - This command lets you register your desired nickname. Use the command /msg nickserv Pass E-mail (Your desired password and a working  E-mail). Note1. You need to be on the net for 30 seconds to be able to register your nick.

Identify - This command helps you identify your registered nick by using /msg nickserv identify password

Drop - If You for some reason don't want the Nick you have registered, you can use drop on it with the command /msg nickserv drop. In order to use this command You need to Identify your Nick.

Group - If you want to use a second nick but still want to keep your channel status, use /msg nickserv group (your other nick) password.

Access - Lets you maintain user@host masks from where NickServ will recognize you, so it will not prompt you to change nick or identify. If you want  channel access or editing nickname settings, you still need to Idientify yourself. Also, you can only be recognized as the nick you are currently using. Example for  using Access: "/msg nickserv add user@example.host" "/msg nickserv add user@1.01.01.01" "/msg nickserv add user@1.1.1.1./24" "/msg nicksserv del user@example.host"

Set - This option lets you set a various settings. Use the command /msg nickserv SET option parameters. For more information about this option, type /msg nickserv help SET.

Recover - Kills another person that has taken your nick making him/her be a guestnick.

Release - Use this command after you used Recover to regain your nick.

Ghost - Kills your dead nick. Use /msg ghost nick password. This command is also an simpler way to kill  an user that has taken  your nick.

Alist - Use this command to get information on what channels you have access on. Use the command /msg nickserv alist.

Info - With thos command you can obtain info that is registered with your nick. /msg nickserv yournick gives you basic information while "/msg nickserv info yournick all" gives you more information.

Logout - Logs out your nick. Opposite to Identify.

Status - Returns whether the user using the given nickname is recognized as the owner of the nickname.  The response has the format: nickname status-code the codes are : "0 - no such user online or nickname not registered" "1 - user not recognized as nickname's owner" "2 - user recognized as owner via access list only" "3 - user recognized as owner via password identification". The command is /msg nickserv status nickname.

Update - Updates your nick information, such as sets your vhost, checks if you have any new memos, chanmodes and your flags.
